They are used for the efficient operation of websites and can provide information and help customize services. Nexam collects the Personal Information provided by cookies from its Platform and Help Center. The use of the Platform requires only essential cookies, strictly necessary for its proper operation and for providing technical support services. Access to the Help Center and technical support services \u2014 whether directly by email, through chat on the website, or via the Nexam Platform messenger \u2014 also involves the use of cookies, in accordance with the\u00a0 Website\u2019s Privacy Policy<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n If required by a Client, you will be monitored when you take your online exam. Online monitoring is conducted as directed by our Client. <\/span><\/p>\n Monitoring mechanisms may include:<\/span><\/p>\n Thus, you must ensure that you control the environment of your monitored online exam session. You must ensure that you are the only person recorded during your exam session, and that no-one else is in the monitored environment. You are responsible for notifying people who may be in the vicinity of your monitored exam session to prevent them from being inadvertently captured.<\/span><\/p>\n If the Client requires the writing environment to be monitored, information collected will be used for identity verification, online observation, incident resolution, such as fraud prevention, exam security, exam and procedure integrity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In some cases, prior to the start of your exam or during your exam, you may be asked to present or upload identification (e.g., your driver’s license, passport, or other approved identification designated by the Client), to be recorded for identity verification purposes. The collection of such data may be mandatory for some Clients.<\/span><\/p>\n If there are any abnormal and unauthorized activities during the writing, your captures will be analyzed by Nexam, our Client and\/or the person responsible for your exam. Recordings showing abnormal activity may be accessed and extracted by these authorized parties.<\/span><\/p>\n You understand that monitoring recordings of your exam session will be available to the <\/span>applicable Client or one of its designated agents to assist in administering your exam.<\/b><\/p>\n You also understand that the only way to enable monitoring features is to authorize sharing rights yourself. Under no circumstances, Nexam will collect monitoring data without your consent.<\/span><\/p>\n Under no circumstances, will Nexam use the above Personal Information for any purpose other than those specified.<\/span><\/p>\n Some of our Clients choose to require biometric verification of your identity in order to guarantee a higher level of assurance during online exams.<\/p>\n To fulfill these requirements, with your consent and when necessary, we use a service provider to take a photo of your ID and face using a self-portrait. The service provider then compares the facial geometry extracted from the photos of your ID and face on the self-portrait to securely verify your identity.<\/p>\n Our service provider processes your personal information to verify your identity. It does not use your biometric data for any other purpose and deletes your biometric data immediately after verifying your identity. Our service provider’s management of your personal information is explained in detail in its Privacy Policy<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n As part of these services, Nexam may obtain a copy of your self-portrait to facilitate your registration on the day of the exam, but we will not have access to your personal biometric information.<\/p>\n When you take an online assessment on Nexam for which our clients specify that identity verification is required, an integrated solution compares the face of the person in front of the camera with the reference photo. This solution is provided by a third-party service provider.
