Quebec City, December 9, 2021 – Solution Nexam Inc. announces a major investment to accelerate the growth of its platform specializing in online exam management.
Thanks to the financial support from the City of Québec as part of the Technology Showcase component of the Québec 2026 Entrepreneurial Vision (Vision Entrepreneuriale Québec 2026), the Quebec start-up will be able to accelerate the development of its platform and integrate the latest technological innovations to meet the growing need for online evaluations. This funding comes at the right time for Solution Nexam’s founder, Marie-Sophie Dionne, and her entire team, as the current public health situation has greatly accelerated the need for pedagogical transformation within organizations. Over the past few months, more than 22,000 exam copies have been completed on the Nexam platform, allowing thousands of students to take their final exams or future members of professional orders to obtain their titles, all remotely and with respect for personal data privacy.
Once this validation phase is complete, the company aims to solidify its position as the Quebec leader in the digital examination space. The Nexam 2.0 project will allow for an expanded customer base by providing management tools for those with a very high volume of exams. Clients will be able to manage the creation, integration, administration, and grading of exams autonomously through a simple and user-friendly interface.

The female-owned company EdTech has been on everyone’s mind over the past few weeks. First as a prizewinner of the C2 Montréal Emerging Entrepreneurs Contest in early fall, then Mrs. Dionne, last December 9, won first place in the provincial competition, The Cup (La Coupe), organized by the Quebec Junior Chamber of Commerce Group (Regroupement des Jeunes Chambres de Commerce du Québec — RJCCQ) earning her a $20,000 grant. Elodie Monette, Product Manager at Solution Nexam, was awarded the title of Young Business Personality in the “Innovation and Technology” category by the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Québec (Jeune Chambre de commerce de Québec — JCCQ).
